At Monte Vista, we believe in the power of homeownership and are committed to helping our tenants transition into proud homeowners. That's why we're excited to introduce the Move Up Promise, a program designed to make homeownership more accessible for our valued residents.
Through this program, we offer $15,000 in down payment assistance to eligible tenants who purchase a Monte Vista home within one of our communities. The program is also available to company employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
We also offer pre-existing homes for sale — ask your Property Manager for current availability and details.
Program Benefits
Eligibility Criteria
18-Month Rental History
Must have an 18-month rental history with Monte Vista
No Late Payments
No late payments during your lease term
Property in Good Condition
No major damage to your current home
Accommodate Showings
Willingness to accommodate property showings before moving out
How It Works
As part of this program, we will coordinate your move-out in conjunction with the closing process. If necessary, Monte Vista will cover the expense of credit repair services. Additionally, you agree to cooperate with showings for new tenants during your occupancy.
Down Payment Assistance
Monte Vista will provide up to $15,000 in down payment assistance under the following conditions:
- You purchase a Monte Vista home in one of our communities.
- You work with Monte Vista's in-house lender to secure a loan.
